Working at JAV is hands down one of the best ways to get started in aviation for a pilot. Not only did I get to travel the country and explore new towns, I gained valuable experience. Working here will build confidence in all types of airspace and ATC environments. Aside from the flight experience I gained valuable aircraft management experience. The skills learned while coordinating with FBOs and ATC will be useful throughout my aviation career. The owners genuinely care about their pilots and always take time to resolve issues. The planes are well maintained and issues are fixed immediately. Working here has not only helped me build time, but skills that I wouldn’t be able to gain at other jobs. I would recommend JAV to any pilot that has great stick and rudder skills, is a self starter, has the ability to work with other pilots, and a drive to constantly learn.
